.....
Beware political contrariness. There is a price.
My politics can best be described as anti-orthodox. That's about it, otherwise I'm all over the map. This affects my wardrobe, which I can never seem to wear appropriately. If I'm shopping in Atlanta's Little Five Points district, mingling with patchouli wearers in the crystal shops, I will invariably be wearing my "Central Georgia Law Enforcement Association" t-shirt, or one of my Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield shirts. Not intentionally, mind, it just works out that way.
Today, I had on a Che Guevara t-shirt as I drove down U.S. 411 from my mothers' house in Tennessee. I made two stops, at a gun store and a redneck fireworks stand.
I was leaving the fireworks place before I realized what all the bemused looks were about.
