No sooner do I finish my little celebration of Bothnerian Documentation do I stumble upon this little gem:

"Documentation is like sex: when it is good, it is very, very good; and when it is bad, it is better than nothing."
--- Dick Brandon

I was amused by this, but then a bit puzzled as the metaphor seemed more apt than Brandon noticed: I tend to prefer nothing to bad sex, and even moreso to bad documentation. Bad documentation, like bad sex, can spoil a good relationship; they both tend to lead to confusion, frustration, and unwise decisions; it's hard to pay attention to either, and very easy to complain about both; everyone will tell you how to make 'em better, but no one will help...

*ahem*

Ok, that's enough of *that*.

(As a side note, the Squeak Swiki's quote of the day feature is rather nifty, and worth emulating.)

(Yes, Niel, that was a hint.)
