Burt Wolf does a moderately good job of describing Scottish cuisine, but he commits the cardinal sin of misspelling whisky.

Sure, in Tennessee and Kentucky we have some decent whiskey, but in Scotland there is no "e".

I'll be drinking from my bottle of 21-year-old Springbank come Burns Night. And maybe I'll look up that recipe for vegetarian haggis...
