Run, do not walk, to your nearest local, independent music store and buy this album! La musica Cubana is good for what ails ya! Buena Vista Social Club is the best Cuban music widely available in the U.S. I'm only half-kidding when I say that BVSC alone is reason enough to normalize relations with Cuba. One wonders what it is that Castro has supposedly done that is so much worse than what China has done. Oh, that's right, China has the largest non-Westernized market in the world.
