John McCain is "suspending" his campaign. Bill Bradley is honest about it, and actually drops out. All this in March, with only 19 states' party members having voiced their preference for a presidential candidate.

When does Florida get to express its choice? Illinois? Utah?

I'll be honest, I raided the Republican primary. I did my best to keep the race alive. And it was strange, either I live in a very conservative precinct (I didn't think I did), or a lot of independents and Democrats crossed over to throw a monkeywrench in the GOP's machine.

Fat lot of good it did anyone. Bush still won three to one in Georgia.

And then the House killed HB672, which was the only hope for getting viable third-party candidates on the ballot this November. Now the Greens, the Libertarians, they'll each need more than 39,000 verified petition signatures to get their candidates' names on the ballot. No candidate printed on the ballot means they'll be limited to write-in votes. Write-in votes only means low votes for the 3rd parties. Low votes mean you have to petition to get on the next ballot. Repeat ad nauseum.

It's sickening.
