Dream questions for Bush the Lesser:

  • Were you being a compassionate conservative or one of those nasty old uncompassionate conservatives when you mocked Karla Tucker's request for clemency before her execution?
  • Were you following the dictates of your favorite "philosopher," Jesus Christ, when you signed death warrants for over 100 death row inmates in Texas, including some who are legally retarded or illiterate or desperately poor or malfeasantly represented by incompetent counsel?
  • Were you making a "hard call" when you gutted environmental protections in Texas for your "Oil Bidness" buddies, and when you cut property taxes by $1,000,000,000, a visciously regressive tax break?
  • Is it your need to compete with your bloodthirsty brother Jeb, Governor of Florida, home of "Old Smokey," their ancient and faulty electric chair, for your father's affections -- who, after all, killed lots of brown people in the Gulf War -- that's lead you to turn Texas into Execution Central, the chief hub in America's Prison Industrial complex?

Come, come George, inquiring minds want to know.
