Monkeyfist Outage

Ok, so if you were browsing for a plate of hot steaming Monkeyfist late Tuesday night, early Wednesday morning, you know that the Monkey was down. Suffice it to say that there are some bad Linux kernels in the 2.2.x range, but we're back in business now, and things should hum along nicely for another 60 or 70 days.

Remember, kids: when

ps uax | grep init

comes back empty, you know you've got troubles.

Also a note for you Weblog addicts: when the Monkey's down, Robot Wisdom is probably down too; they're on the same box. Monkeyfist may be a new site, but we've been serving up Jorn Barger riffs for a pretty long time.
