What is "Go We Go"?

What, exactly, does "Go We Go" mean? It has its roots in the 1996 presidential candidacy of Ralph Nader. On August 19 of that year, Nader accepted the nomination of the Green Party for President of the United States.

From his acceptance speech:

The intonation should be go WE go! Go WE go!

It's not Nader running for President, it's all of us. Go We Go!
