You know the leftist cliche about police being the security guards of corporate property and the moneyed class? I suspect many cops are decent people individually, but they get misused by the powers-that-be.

The SPD Web site of WTO "suspects" seems especially disgusting since in most cases the pictures don't depict any crime at all. Here's hoping that there's a stunning level of non-cooperation with this snitch operation. I'm sure the SPD was smart enough to pull the pictures of any agent provacateurs that may have been snapped accidentally. I wonder if it's illegal to provide the police with false, misleading tips?

Anyone up for doing a Web site showing the evidence of police crimes? There was a lot of overt brutality and illegal police behavior photographed and videotaped. It would be a bit reassuring to learn that SPD Internal Affairs was putting up a similar Web site for help in identifying police officers who broke the law.
